There are literally dozens of sights for the kids to experience whilst you are in Washington. Book a family taxi with the right mix of seating arrangements for the family horde, making sure that there is a baby seat if needed for a new born, or a car booster seat for the toddler monster.

 

Sitting in Rock Creek National Park, the National Zoo is the perfect place to entertain the kids for a few hours amongst the lions, giraffes and orangutans.  At the Natural History Museum the children can get touchy with animal skins and the big teeth of long dead monsters.  Little feminine squeals will ring out at the sight of tarantula feedings, whilst the small boys will love it. Let the kids' imagination run riot at the American History Museum and don't forget to take them to the Washington Monument.

 

Washington Dulles International Airport is located 42 km west from downtown Washington. The easiest and safest way into town is by using taxi services such as airport transfer with car seat.
