Child friendly Tel Aviv

 

"The city that never sleeps", Tel Aviv is the cultural and economic center of Israel. With more than 25 miles of bike paths, it is an easy city to explore by peddle power. When you do have to grab a family cab make sure that it has somewhere for everyone's bottoms to fit comfortably.  You will need a car booster seat for the toddler of the family or a babyseat for the tiniest family member, a newborn.

 

Walk the Tel Aviv-Jaffa Promenade where everyone seems to be jogging or biking. Go to the Tel Aviv Port for a sticky beak at the boats and then wander around the Tel Aviv University's Botanical Gardens for a respite from the heat. Visit out-door markets or go to a breath taking beach for a play in the sand. Take the family to the Israel Zoo and watch the kids feed the animals and visit one of the many museums around for a bit of ad hoc educational value. Stroll around the narrow alleys of Jaffa Port or the old Train Station complex where street performers will have the kids roaring with laughter. 

 

Ben Gurion Airport is one of the five best airports in the Middle East and services Tel Aviv. From here you can take an airport transfer with car seat for a safe taxi ride directly to Tel aviv city or the beach.
